ChatGPT is Chat Generative Pretrained transformer, which is an artificial intelligence tool launched by OpenAI on November 30th, 2022. Sounds cool right? We are aware that AI is the next big thing. In this, ChatGPT has entered as a new sensation. ChatGPT has received over 1 million users in just five days of its launch. It has created a new record in history.
What is Open AI?
OpenAI is a non-profit research company launched in 2015 by Sam Altman and Elon Musk. Unfortunately, in 2018 Elon Musk resigned from OpenAI to avoid future conflict, as he wishes to concentrate more on Tesla which also works with AI. There biggest pillar is artificial intelligence, the future of this world.
OpenAI has used Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback (RLHF) technique in their new ChatGPT tool. This detail is openly available in their blog post. They use reinforcement learning method to optimize language with human feedback. GPT 3.5 is enabled to give detailed response like humans. But it is a human agent chats in a dialogue format.

As GPT 3.5 is enforced, the user won’t feel like interacting with a complete machine-like tool. In fact, the chatbot will answer you like a friend. User will feel like having an intellectual conversation with a friend. ChatGPT is trained to understand human and their intentions. ChatGPT VS ChatGPT Plus
On 1st February 2023 OpenAI has introduced ChatGPT Plus with monthly subscription. This new subscription plan is available for 20 USD a month. Moreover, they have plans to expand their access to more countries. This doesn’t mean they have stopped their free plan. Yet, there is some restrictions. ChatGPT Plus users will be given more priority. Whereas the free users will face slow response time in accessing.
Will this replace Google?
Chatbot won’t replace Google in any time sooner. But it is not a big no. As for now ChatGPT is updated with 2021 far data’s only. It can’t answer you the most recent question. This issue will be rectified in their next update. Until then you won’t be able to find the recent current affairs and details in ChatGPT. Yet, Chatbot is free from advertisement.
However, you don’t have to open numerous pages to find an answer. Your answers are just a text away. It gives all step by step information and methods in elaborate. Then why to waste time in Google to search the right answer?
A threat to Google
Microsoft has invested 1 Billion USD for OpenAI in 2019. And they are ready to invest 10 Billion USD in future. Definitely it will be a big blow to Google. For past two decades Google serves as the biggest search engine without any big competition. Now Microsoft has entered the race with a smart move. They hope to use OpenAI’s chatbot in Bing! If this happen there is no doubt it will create new revolution in history.
Finally, amid the ChatGPT buzz, Google is testing it’s AI chatbot “Apprentice Bard” in silence. It works same like ChatGPT. In the long run, AI is here to replace man power in future. When a person wishes to start a company, he doesn’t want to recruit 10 employees. Instead AI will do the job with minimal cost. You need a person who knows to operate this system, not to do the job.
